Saturday in Old San Juan

Last Saturday my partner and I did my favorite thing-we spent the afternoon in Viejo San Juan.

Walking down the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan is an experience unlike any other. We enjoyed walking in the fresh ocean air while taking in the colorful doorways that line the neighborhoods.

We walked the Paseo de Princess and admired the statues and fountain that adorn the area. While passing along the water I looked over the barrier to find sea urchins swaying in the water. I also managed to spot a few crabs too, along with a pelican perched precariously on a tree branch.

It’s easy to lose yourself in this enchanting location. An entire day can be spent just walking around and observing, but that’s not to say there isn’t great food  and shopping too.
